Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Zoaki sets a small number of cookies. Some are needed for the site to work at all; two are optional and are set only if you agree. This page lists all of them.

Cookies we cannot do without

These are not offered as a choice, because without them the site cannot do what you came for. They are not used to advertise to you or shared with anyone.

  • Your session. Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It is host-only, and it is how the server knows which account is asking.
  • Your language. Remembers whether you are reading Zoaki in Greek or English, so a link somebody sends you opens in the language you use.
  • Your theme. Remembers light or dark, so the page does not flash the wrong one while it loads.
  • Your cookie choice. The answer you gave the banner, stored as zoaki-cookie-consent for 182 days. Without it we would have to ask again on every page.
  • Security. A short-lived token that proves a form was submitted from Zoaki and not from somewhere else.

Optional cookies

Two categories, both off until you accept them. Declining costs you nothing and changes nothing about how the site works — the scripts are not sent to your browser at all rather than being sent and left idle.

  • Analytics. Which pages visitors open, so we know what to improve. Counts, not people.
  • Performance. How quickly pages load, so we can find the slow ones.

Changing your mind

Your choice is not final. Change it any time in Settings, or clear cookies for this site in your browser and the banner will ask again. Your browser can also block or delete cookies for Zoaki entirely; the site will keep working, but you will be signed out.
